Luctor et Emergo loosely translated means: "I struggle and I emerge." This will be the web log of a medical student. Together we will ponder issues faced by doctor and patient alike. I predict that we will discover more questions than answers, and that medicine will bring us out beyond the clinic and into the very core of society; to the ultimate questions about what it means to be a human being.
